The Guipan River Water Interchange in Shunde District, Foshan City, Constructed by Sanhe Company, Officially Opens

On January 15, the Guipan Sea Water Overpass in Shunde District, Foshan City, constructed by Shaanxi Sanhe Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., officially opened. This project is the first water overpass project in Guangdong Province and also a pilot project for Guangdong's water economy.

As one of Shunde District's three major high-quality projects, the Guipan Sea Water Overpass project carries the important mission of promoting Shunde's water conservancy and transportation development. It is not only a vivid practice of Shunde's strategy of developing the city through water and beautifying the city with water, but also one of the important measures to enhance urban quality from a high starting point.

The project fully connects through a water axis system and land routes, involving three main construction components: the new Guipan Sea artificial river inverted siphon culvert, the water connection between Guipan Lake and the Happy Coast artificial lake, and regional water environment remediation. It has now been fully completed and passed acceptance.

A relevant person in charge from Shunde District's Water-Driven Urban Development Office introduced: "After the project is completed, citizens' travel will be more convenient. The two overpasses, east and west, will also effectively alleviate traffic pressure in the Country Garden Road Happy Tunnel during peak hours, solving traffic congestion issues. At the same time, the waterfront environment will become more beautiful."
